A 50 meter pool makes perfect sense. The revenue from local high schools and other scheduled competitions would be wonderful.

The need for a large swim facility is not only needed for the West Side but for the tri state area. A great Miami township club swim team would be filled quickly. Something the community would be proud to call their own.

A 50 meter pool will be a much needed boon to the swimmers in the area but it's impact would be significantly greater. An expanded 1st class facility, will provide the opportunity to host important events year-round. These events will attract spectators, coaches, officials, participants, family, etc. to this community. It's impact would be similar to that of Crossroads and be another reason for people to invest in Miami Township.

I am the parent of a year round swimmer. I have been to pools all around the city. Building the 50 meter pool is the best decision.

Similar to supporting the tax increase so the school could be built, this is THE ONLY CHANCE area residents will ever have at this. Don't let the opportunity slip away. When you consider how many residents are driving 20+ minutes already, the 25 yard pool isn't enough, and it has yet to be built. Instead of simply having a place to swim, a 50 meter pool will be an attraction which draws people to the facility. Only a handful of 50M pools exist in all of Greater Cincinnati. This is something west-side residents can finally be proud of.

If anyone is interested there is an open meeting for any in the community to come hear about the proposed building plans. The building has been researched, planned and discussed for years now. It would be funded using T.I.F. dollars - that is taxes already collected from those of us living in Miami Township. While I see some merit to a 50m pool please do not assume there are unlimited funds for this project. And also understand that many communities with these facilities, think Evendale, do not allow those outside the tax paying base to utilize it. Three Rivers and Miami Township have done their research in understanding that allowing for out of community membership is the way to go, along with outside groups being allowed access as well. My advice is to get familiar with the proposal by attending an informational meeting - March 24th at Crossroads in Bridgetown - see info below...
Dear 3Rivers Community Members-Please consider joining us on Sunday, March 24 at Crossroads Church at 6:00pm for a community conversation about the PROPOSED Health & Wellness Center that we have been discussing with Miami Township.
(This event has a mandatory RSVP so we can properly plan. Please RSVP me via email at [email protected])
Would be a smart addition
