An off-leash dog park would provide a much needed place to exercise and socialize our dogs. Walking them on a leash is not at all the same. And contrary to some concerns I heard at the recent Council meeting, dogs do not tend to bark much at dog parks - visit one and see for yourself.

A dog park, or a sanctioned off-leash dog area, would be a great way to help village residents keep their pets well socialized and exercised.
