The stories coming in from students about the daily pressure of these rigid dress codes are both eye-opening and deeply frustrating. I am currently organizing these experiences into a report to ensure the administration understands the personal toll these rules take on our expression.

TOTAL POWER TRIP. let kids wear what they want as long as they learn.
honestly what is wrong with having a fringe?? stop being so controlling over every little thing we do
this is ridiculous. let us express ourselves its just makeup not like it affects our grades. so fed up with these rules
School is supposed to be about learning not policing our nail polish and hair. focus on the actual teaching instead
My daughter is constantly getting sent home for the smallest things. It is ridiculous she just wants to look nice for school
