I am from Augusta, Georgia which is about two and a half hours away. I would like for my family and friends to be a part of my special day. Five tickets is not enough, and most of my family has already taken off work to go.

I have 8 immediate family members and can't bear to think any of any of them missing such an important day of my life over a seating issue. Please reconsider these new "traditions" to accommodate larger families.

As an alumni who sympathizes with those being impaced by the venue change, I am signing this in support of your efforts to be able to invite who and however many people you want to invite to your graduation. I was a first-generational student and while I have a small family, I know there are many who have a large family and are also first generational college students.

Its crazy that the school is complaining about the money when the students are paying well over that into their education. All the money they are spending on school, they should be able to share their completion of school with whoever they'd like! It's selfish and greedy to deny students their right to share that moment with their family/friends over money (that they gave you.)

Enough with this "university status" nostalgia. Instead of change, let's do something to honor the students. When i graduate, i'd love my entire family to be apart of the event -- and the number is more than eight. I sincerely hope President Blake, as well as his decision makers below him, will realize that the extra money for using such a venue as Coliseum is a good thing.

My family has not only basically gone through school with me, but have helped me out financially while I struggle to get this degree. I have a split family, and a child of my own. My IMMEDIATE family consists of 7, what about my boyfriend who has done nothing but support me and encourage me to spend MORE money and push through to finish. What about my grandparents who have given me thousands and only talk about how worth it that it will all be when they get to see me walk across that stage!?? 5 is simply not enough. We're a "growing" college that needs a large enough graduation commencement facility to accommodate the graduates and their families!! This is very important to us!!

I believe the venue should be changed to the Coliseum. I have a large family and I have to limit myself to who can be there on a very special day. They're a university now and they've raised tuition so where is the money going? Also in years to come I'm sure the number of students is going to grow and eventually the wellness center won't be able to hold hundreds of graduates....where will it move to then....more than likely BACK to the Coliseum....

I think it's only fair and just makes sense to do it at the coliseum. The wellness center is just not big enough. Plain & simple.

Graduation should be at the Coliseum, for one thing the venue is larger; and because the school did not present this change until these students were preparing for graduation day.

The most important part of walking across the stage is sharing the accomplishment with your family. The college should be ashamed that they are asking students to limit how many family members they bring to such a low number.
