As much a student have to pay for an education at your College they should not be limited to 5 seats or tickets when it's time to graduate. If you don't have space, maybe administration need to look into getting a larger venue. It's not fair to students, parents, grandparents, children, siblings and friends.
My daughter is graduating on May 12, 2016 and I live in Ohio and after making preparation to travel and then told that I may have a seat. That was not a pleasant thing to hear.

Such a joyous occasion yet sad that students should have to pick and choose only 5 family members to share this special moment. Keep in mind that along with family you have special mentors and people who have pushed the graduates to get where they are. It's very sad to hear that a top accredited school would take away a piece of that special moment and by making them choose between someone who has helped guide them and lead them along the way or their immediate family..someone special will be missing out on sharing this special moment.

Watching my girlfriend go through a tough few years getting her degree only to find out that her family would not all be able to see it has been devastating. The amount of stress she's been put through due to this is absurd. Having to pick and choose who amongst your family, let alone your friends, makes the cut to watch you walk across the stage is not something a Senior in college should have to deal with.

I hope you will choose a venue that allows students and as many of their family as they would like, to share in the joy of college graduation. It's a momentous occasion in life worthy of being enjoyed by family and friends without the stress of CHOOSING who can attend.

My granddaughter is a first generation grad this year at MGSU, and it's very upsetting I may not be able to celebrate this special moment with her. Please change the location to accommodate all of our family members.

I guess I'll mark this school off my list of nursing schools to apply to. Have this school thought about the position they have put THEIR students in? What about people who are married with KIDS? That automatically cancels out the students family and close friends. The people who have watched them go through the struggle. Give us the opportunity to see the tears of joy, instead of just remembering the tears of frustration and being overwhelmed. I would love to be right there as MY GRADUATE walk off the stage and say "see, I told you." Are you guys really going to make me miss an "I told you so" moment??? LOL! What else can I do but laugh, to cover up the disappointment I will feel if I miss this day. This is definitely added stress on the students making them pick and choose between family on THEIR special day. Way to go Middle Georgia!

I have already purchased a flight for that day for my graduate and it's a possibility I might not be able to go because the venue is small. My graduate worked hard and deserves this day with her family and friends.

I am a graduate of MGSC and I was apart of the final class to graduate from MGSC before it gained university status. It is wrong that family and friends will not be able to witness a significant moment due to venue change. Change it back to Macon Coliseum!!!
