Bartolo "Big Sexy" Colon was the Mets' most durable, consistent pitcher from the 2014 thru 2016 seasons. A leader in the clubhouse and stabilizing force on the team. Unfortunately, after the 2016 season, the Mets decided to let Big Sexy walk and he signed a contract with division foes, the Atlanta Braves.

The 2017 season has been disappointing so far for Big Sexy, amassing a 8.14 ERA and 2-8 record after 13 starts. Bartolo clearly missed NYC...

On June 29, 2017, the Braves announced that they have designated Bartolo for assignment (a/k/a cut him from the team). This is the Mets' chance to...BRING BIG SEXY BACK.
