Metra Board of Directors and Citizen Advisory Board, please consider engaging in conversations with the Kenosha Transit Department as well as it’s Transportation Commission regarding the possibility of an increase in train availability into the City of Kenosha for weekday and weekend riders.

As the second largest city on the North Pacific route, many of our city and surrounding area residents utilize the Metra train but are forced to commute to Waukegan, IL for more flexible train schedule options. We believe that additional train availability would increase ridership as well as encourage neighboring city, town and village residents to utilize the train more often.
