I condemn sexual assault in all its forms. Every single person deserves and must be respected and if they are not, the perpetrator must be punished in one way or another. A society doesn't grow by having rapists within it.

I could say "luckily" I don't have to jump conclusions as unfortunately, I know the disgusting details. The only thing I sorry I got the details a few months too late... As you must know the victim many times feels ashamed even in front of her loved ones...
I can just hope the Korean Go Association will handle this with professionalism, if not I will encourage all foreign Go associations to ban Korean professionals, and never send anybody to be taught by them, as they encourage sexual abuse.

So is there proof or is this one of these "listen and believe" kinda things? I don't wanna be cynical but there has been a lot of these witch hunts over accusations in the recent years. (See Columbia Mattress Girl) And it even here it says "has been suspected" and not that he's been proven guilty of such things. Being against sexual abuse is of course a good thing and heavily encouraged by me, but if it's about individuals I'd rather not jump to conclusions and join the angry mob. To say it in the words of Sir William Blackstone: "It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer". And as long as there is no definitive proof I will not jump conclusions no matter how disgusting the accusation is.
