Watford already has a problem with road congestion which another bus route would not improve

So much work has already started and plans have been made. Why would you let all this go to waste? It makes no sense to cancel now.

This would be a great benefit to the communities it would serve.

Travel costs from Watford are disproportionately high when comparing the distance from central London to amounts charged by tfl to other destinations of a similar distance. Connecting the met line to Watford junction would make travel from central London much easier and potentially allow prices to be brought more in line with the rest of the network

Am surprised the London mayor wants polluting buses to run the service. Or are they electric or solar powered.

In my view,Sadiq Khan is being difficult and unreasonable. Just think of all the additiobnal traffic which will clog up the town when the extension to the Harlequin centre is opened. An additional rail link as proposed would help alleviate those problems, particularly on match days. The Mayor wants to improve the air quality for those living in central and greater London yet he himself wishes to add to the pollution with buses stuck in traffic jams spewing out more diesel fumes. Change is never easy but we need this rail link which will bring great benefits to all.

A very needed rail /tube travel link.
Inexplicable and unpardonable of the London Mayor to withdraw support after so much progress made.

Get this project completed its been languishing in development hell for over 20 years! The town needs it to cut down congestion around the hospital, junction, high street and st albans road.

It's a 'no-brainer'. We must have a rail link. buses do only a minute percentage of the work that trains do.

The Met line extension is a fantastic development project that would improve public transport linking-up areas of Watford and its neighboring London boroughs. The Mayor is standing in the way of progress. Businesses and people living in London would benefit from transport links out of the capital as well as commuters into the city.

As a frequent shopper/visitor to Watford this extension would save my wife and I several car journeys (and car parking) a year from Pinner to Watford. Family members live just a short walk from one of the new proposed station sites.

I am partially sighted and really need public transport. Without this service, I cannot go shopping or have access to the hospital.

As a resident of central Watford, the extension of the Metropolitan Line to Watford Junction would invaluably improve connectivity to London and nearby towns. I wholeheartedly hope it goes ahead.
