The money is there, all local stakeholders support the scheme. Outrageous that the Mayor of a neighbouring city can cancel this scheme.

This work is long overdue. Now he has the funding what’s the delay?

Vital for business and commuters into London both ways. Our town is populated by Londoners forced out by unaffordable house prices who deserve this investment.

This needed line has been talked about since I was a child. Now over 50.
Pull your finger out Mayor Sadie.

This has gone on too long. Too much faffing around. Let’s just get on with it now and enjoy the benefits!

As someone who lives in Wembley, supports Watford Football Club and has a lifelong interest in railways, I have paid great attention over the years to the battle to deliver the Croxley Rail Link, and I was very much hopeful that the point had finally been reached when work could start. Therefore, I am very disappointed by today's news.

As the cost of living in London increases, the demand for housing and other services, such as transport, in the suburbs goes up. Commuting into London from the suburbs will become increasingly vital and it is short sighted not to plan for this unavoidable and utterly predictable future. This is what happens when politicians chase votes and put their careers above the people who will have to live with their decisions for decades to come. The funding is there, the work has started - what's the problem?!

The Mayor has no reason to refuse if the funding has been secured. Planning for almost 500 homes was based on a new station so that cars were not necessary, now there is no parking and no plan B for the traffic that will now follow.
Honour the commitments that your office has made.

This is a very short-sighted decision - the link is badly needed andI expect it to be a very profitable alternative to the grid-locked roads.

This extension is needed. There’s many people working in London, keeping the City of London going, who commute from Watford. This needs to be taken into account.

Hertfordshire desperately needs this link for business and social connection.

Please reconsider your position on the Watford Met line extension. The Met line station is far away from Watford Junction and there is hardly any parking at the Met line for people who come in from outlying towns and villages. Please make it easier for them to commute into London for work or pleasure. The Oyster card can be used in Watford so I don't see why you see this as part of your plan for London.

This scheme benefits London as much as Herts. Housing costs have forced people to move further out but they still need to work in London, thus contributing to its economy
