A poor example of being London focussed while wanting to be responsible for rail transport in a wider area of the South-east.

The Mayor has not provided a clear explanation for why he is trying to cancel the Met Line extension. Simply throwing mud at his predecessor is not enough.

We need this as part of the positive developments Watford are investing in. Mayor Khan has gone against his promises.

Mr Khan surely if our MP Richard Harrington went the extra mile & found the addition £73m funding you requested, there cannot be any possible excuse not to grant approval for this much needed scheme.

I am in favour of the Met line extension. Typical of Sadiq K not to keep up with his promises. He needs to resign as Mayor. Running more buses on the road will add more to an existing busy route. This will create more pollution as cars will be stuck behind the buses.

If the funds have the been secured how can Khan not let it go ahead ?
TFL already manage services out to Chesham and Watford so if he is only interested London Boroughs then his stance is a contradiction.

Surely it should be decided by our local authority that the Met Line Extension would be of great benefit to local travellers. I thought the main idea was to reduce road congestion not increase it.

This extension is critical to the development and expansion of the east side of Watford and beyond

I suppose we will all have to carry on using our cars in an area that is struggling to cope already and commit our children to further ongoing high pollution. Good planning Sadiq!

Sadiq, stop playing silly political games and just doing the opposite of what the Tories do/would do... Put the people of Watford AND Londoners first. Many Watford customers travel into London (paying their way to TfL) and many Londoners travel to work in Watford. Extending the Met will relieve pressure on the Overground (which is dropping from 5 to 4 cars with the new 710s) and make use of the extra S stock unit TfL purchased for several million so it could run out to Watford Junction. The longer this drags on, the more expensive it will get. Just get on with it please. Although the fare freeze was done with good intention, working in the transport industry, I know (and see) the mess it has made behind the scenes.

Disgraceful by the mayor to fob people off with a shuttle bus instead of met line extension which is what the town needs. Ongoing for 4 years this extension and still no where to be seen.

I support the Metropolitan Line extension as this will improve transport links not just for people in Watford but also for residents in areas such as Northwood Hills which I represent on Hillingdon Council.
