I was under the impression Met line extention to Watford is happening till now. It is really important for Watford and overall benefit to the north London.

This is an incredibly important scheme for the residents of Watford, many of whom commute into London each day. The current setup means travel into London is disjointed from two stations at separate ends of the town.
As far as I was aware the scheme was approved and funded. To hear this u-turn is utterly disappointing. A bus service will just not deliver what the local population needs.

The Met extension would be such a boost for the area. Watford is already important in terms of its proximity to London.

Needed to reduce traffic congestion. Will aid travel to and from Watford General Hospital -improve commuting both to local business parks and to London - and help football fans on match days at Vicarage Road.

The decision to scrap the plan is disgusting and appalling. It shows a total disregard for Watford residents. Mr Khan should be ashamed.

A stupid decision by the London Mayor, considering funding has been sourced and infrastructure projects bring jobs and wealth creation to the communities served by them. A 'bus Route'- Typical!

Very disappointed at narrow minded view of one man able to scupper these long-term plans and valuable work by our MP. Moving goalposts and reneging on promises is disgraceful. Where is honour? I am furious with Sadiq Khan.

Need to build the extension as it helps peoples go to the Watford General Hospital and solve the trafic problems there as well.

Surely a guided bus will still need infrastructure and new vehicles so questionable if it would be any cheaper. Also requires passengers to change from train to bus adding time to each journey.
