Metallica at Slane Castle was an amazing gig. Slane can be a balls to get in and out of but camping and staying the weekend is the way to go. Had a blast and Metallica were in top form.
The Venue in the Irish countryside with the Sunshine (While it lasted) was spectacular.
(Slane Castle has hosted some of the biggest rock bands in history)
I think if they have footage of the whole concert i think this gig beats most of the official Metallica DVD releases.
I started a petition for the fans to rally and get Metallica to release all the footage online or as a Purchasable HD Download, Blu-Ray or DVD.
Metallica have released 2 songs from the concert on their YouTube channel..

Seeing this level of support for the Slane footage proves I am not the only one who still thinks about that night constantly. The energy behind this request is incredible and it shows just how much that specific performance meant to all of us.

The scenic quality of the venue would definitely add to the visual aesthetic on a DVD release.
Didn’t get to go but saw it on you tube. Would love them to release it to Blu ray

Great gig, great crowd, great band and great day. Seeing the whole hill behind me filled with screaming Metallica fans was amazing. Please release the whole show as a video too, it's worth it
Myself, boyfriend and his friend were at the gig and had an amazing time. So much so that my boyfriend is till taking about it 4 days later haha. Please realease the footage and let him relive the gig all over again!

It was the best rock concert in Irish history! It would be amazing to experience it again.
