This petition is about getting the state and federal governments to stand up and take notice. For to long now assults rapes and murders have taken place in our clubs and pubs and it has now hit home for me. On saturday May 2nd a family friend Phil Halipilias was murdered at the ALEXANDRA HILLS HOTEL in queensland. Phil was just 20 years old. He stepped into a fight on the dancefloor to brake it up, he was stabbed and died at the scene. Phil was far to young to loose his life to such stupidity. Lets make metal detectors mandatory so this never happens to another brother, son or friend again !!
