An accident will be iminent on Penrhos Road unless the council take action to reduce speeding. With more houses being built along the road the volume of traffic and children trying to cross the road is only going to increase and with that the likelyhood of an accident. As a resident of Penrhos Road I would also like to register my concern over the number of cars that drive along thd road at off peak times at speeds in excess of 40 mph. I have complained to police about this issue and been informed that the volume of traffic on the road is not sufficient to make a speed camera cost efficient, I am shocked to realise that money is the deciding factor in placing of speed cameras and not saving lives.
