we got the news that the council is installing the new crossing and speed signs at the school. its such a relief to know the path will be safer for the kids now. thanks to everyone who helped push for this because we actually made it happen.

Byddai hynny fel rhan o gynllun gwyrdd cyfansawdd ar gyfer teithio i’r ysgol yn Ninas Bangor.
We the undersigned petitioners call on Gwynedd Council to implement, as a matter of urgency, the following road safety measures to mitigate any potential accident outside Ysgol y Garnedd, Ffordd Penrhos, Bangor in light of continuing problems with speeding traffic; a 20mph speed restriction outside the school on Ffordd Penrhos, clear signage to indicate the presence of a school & schoolchildren, traffic calming lines and posts to identify a crossing. This should be part of a wider green transport to school plan for the City of Bangor.

i walk my children along the road most days to and from school and it is a dangerous road. the situation is only going to get worse with the planned new houses. action now please to avoid a serious accident.
Being a busy street something needs to be done for the safety of the school children also because there is not enough parking spaces in the Garnedd car park so parents have to park on penrhos road making it a lot more dangerous with all the traffic
