I wholeheartedly support keeping Kelsey as the garden teacher at Montclair. He has created such a meaningful, hands-on learning experience for our children! one that goes far beyond the classroom. His passion, dedication, and ability to connect students with nature is truly special and irreplaceable.
Every time I travel to Mexico, he even asks me to bring back native items so the kids can learn where things truly come from. That level of intention and care shows how deeply he values authentic learning and cultural connection. It means so much to our families.
Kelsey is not just teaching gardening! he is planting curiosity, respect for the environment, and appreciation for different cultures in our children. I sincerely hope you will consider how important he is to this program and to our community. ❤️

We're so close to Chez Panisse, started by Alice Waters, who also started the program of gardens at elementary schools. It would be a shame to lose this one.
