Great to see support for Littleflower Girls school to remain a single sex school. It is really important for people to have their say so please spread the word and encourage more signatures. PLEASE ONLY COMMENT IF YOU ARE AGAINST THE MERGER!!

Totally unjust and unfair to remove the choice of single sex education from the Catholic working class!!!

Totally diasagree with this plan for my daughters' sch. The merger doesn't mean more subjects. They already have a great selection of subjects to study at Key Stage 4, as they already have a recriprocal arrangement with St Patrick's, at that level. They'll loose their identity as Little Flower girls, something we're all very proud of. They'll not speak out, act or sing out as well, especially the quieter ones. Split site school don't work. Why should our right to choose be taken away?

Personally I agree with the merger as when you leave school you will work with both male and female and school is a prepatory place for future employment , I remember being at this school and hearing that a merger was to take place and wanting it to happen and feeling happy at the prospect of being able to study subjects that weren't offered at little flower. I think the merger would strengthen the character of both male and female students and give them a more realisticfoundation for adult working life.

I'm a former pupil, I loved my time at the school, it was a lovely family atmospere, it would be such a sad loss to the community.

I disagree with this largely as i have a daughter within the school currently who is thriving! Merging the school with the opposite sex is a total disaster and a complete distraction!
