this would make such a difference for my autistic son who is now 10 and doesnt qualify for a dog under the other schemes as he is now too old.

This is such an important issue - with the lack of mental health "help" available on the NHS, those with depression and anxiety could really benefit from a "Psych Dog".

i have had no help what so ever from doctors, or nurses, the only thing that has helped me is my dog. and i would not be here if it wasent for him!
the UK is a joke, it leaves people with mental health to suffer.

I know for fact via my own experience that having a Dog as a Mental Heath Assistance works well and is more cost effective then taking psychotropic medications

why isit in the u.s.a the people get the help they need, but here we get nothing? i suffer from depression and getting no help from the NHS, the only thing that has helped me is my dog!!!! things need to be done.

How is it that America, the country who couldn't admit PTSD existed, has an amazing support structure in place, but Britain doesn't?!

HI! I ahve been living in a one bedroom apartment quietly studying to better my life, I have a mutt who keeps me company and insist that I get up and take him for a walk, and now.though I have a doctor's note to keep him, my apt. complex is illegally rasing the rent. Has anyone heard of the federal law: Fair housing act? Please help

I have a 10 month old puppy who is my life. She is the reason I don't kill myself I wish that Psych dogs were recognised in the UK for the help that they give.
