There is a need for trained assistance dogs for mental health patients in the UK. It has been proved in the USA by 'Psych Dogs' (copyrighted name) that trained dogs empower sufferers and aid them to live 'normal' lives.

Dogs are trained to recognise condition changes and also assist the handler with tasks.
Mental Health patients suffer in silence and sometimes dont even speak to friends and family about their conditions. Mental Health is NOT all in the mind as some people think and is as disabling as a physical disability.

These trained dogs will turn sufferers lives around and give them focus and control of their illness and give them a friend who will never let them down. We aim to be able in the futre to take on dogs and have them puppy walked and assisgned to suffers on a waiting list as well as training the clients dog that they have already if it meets suitability tests.
