This petition is going to serve as the peoples voice for Memorial Park use. By signing this petition, we are saying that we "taxpayers" would like to be able to use Memorial Park in a group setting. Group setting meaning - boot camp. We should be allowed to have an instructor from whatever boot camp lead us through an hour or so of outdoor workouts. Memorial Park currently has only 3 permits for using its park. They will not allow any more permits. Only one of those is a boot camp. We would like to see more permits being issued. We have been to Memorial Park on a daily basis and there is plenty of room for parking and class. At 5am Memorial Park is totally empty, yet boot camps are being denied permits.
