This petition is to present the opinions of members who stand by Article V (Positions and Protocols) Section II which doesn't state or delegate any power to appoint neither the President nor Vice President positions making such actions constitutionally illegal to APPOINT said positions. The HypnotiQ Chapter Of House Arrest II Championship Dance Team Inc. member names that are present in this petition feel the need to express disappointment in the fact that an adjustment to the election process was even considered. We, (members against appointment) feel said considerations project that our election process, opinions, and voices as the general body are inadequate to choose our very own leadership. Which we, members against appointment that's apart of the general body feel is false. We are more then capable to ELECT, as the constitution states, our President & Vice President for the upcoming year. In reference to last year's situation where it was STATED the previous president Diamond Williams 2KA SO Beau25ul was removed under Article 5 Section 6.1 If a President abandons their post for a period of at least 7 calendar days without proper notification to Nationals, they automatically forfeit their position and will not be allowed to hold any position in HA2. If the chapter does not report the absence of their President, the chapter will immediately be disciplined.  Where as said president (Diamond Williams) was removed so the Vice-President Kenneth Robinson 2KA FANTASTIQ HEIR would have been promoted to the position. Being that Kenneth Robinson resigned from the position of Vice President prior to Diamond Williams being removed left the Chapter without a President or Vice-President. The former Southern Director, chapter founder, and chapter chartering members developed an council to appoint the positions after consulting the national president. When presenting it to the General Body there was a silent vote no members opposed meaning the majority of the general body agreed that Terry Jones 2KA MAJOR PA!N and Bright Ekeigwe 2KA DA KID would be good for the chapter as President and Vice-President. This situation only occurred to rehabilitate the chapter, it was NOT to adjust, amend, or add any clause to the constitution stating that this was an new process of election, so such process should be DISCONTINUED. So according to Article 5 Section 2 SubSection 4 Chapter President Shall be ELECTED to this position for a term of 1 year. and according to Article 5 Section 2.1 SubSection 3 Chapter Vice-President Shall be ELECTED to this position for a term of 1 year. but according to Article 5 Section 3 SubSection 6 Other positions i.e(secretary, treasurer, parliamentarian) Shall be elected or APPOINTED to this position
