Stop the Medicare Meltdown

For years, doctors and hospitals have not been reimbursed appropriately for the cost of treating Medicare patients. Please, we need Congress to re-write the formula by which the medical costs are paid.

If we stop allowing our Dr.s' to earn a good living.. before long we will have no GOOD Dr.s' left in the system. Too many examples in Europe and even Canada that is clear proof this path has not and will not work.

Medicare is a government medical program that works! It is not like the VA program which is also a government program of a different type. We paid in, now keep it working! Physicians need to be paid a reasonable fee for their service.

The best way to kill off the older population is to make it impossible for physicians to treat them. That is exactly what our government is doing...this practice must stop. Physicians need to paid a reasonable fee...Please do not try to tell us that MKR is going broke! The only way this occured is because of mismanagement and greed from our federal gov. Enough taxes have been paid over the years...stop playing with the lives of the older Americans. This country was built on the backs of the elderly...they deserve to be taken care of with respect.

Leave medicare alone.

more and more doctors are opting out. I have already lost my primary care doctor. Please fix the problem. A rational payment system that keeps up with cost of living without forcing doctors to try to deal with patients in impossibly short time frames is absolutely needed .

I know there are good Doctors that want to continue to take Medicare patients but they will not be able to if Congress will develop a system that is fair for all.

Please FIX this problem!!!!!

Congress get off all the nonsense and start doing the work you work elected to do for the people. Fix Medicare now!

I'm unemployed with no income this year. I can't afford the lowest $340 premium for Affordable Healthcare. The tax credits for insurance are only for persons with income. I'm using my savings for my 3 meds. No Medicaid for single adults over 50 with no children.

Please fix medicare to keep up with the cost associated with care of the elderly. This is to include all of the specialists that we may need.

Doing nothing to relieve this medical crisis is insane. You took an oath to care for the people you represent. Kindly, keep your word.

Please fix Medicare. After working & looking forward to retirement, I'm finding these big problems with the Medicare system. I am against cutting payments to doctors, specialty doctors in particular. As we age, many of us have problems and have to be referred to specialists. I count on my specialists to diagnose and help me treat any medical issues I have. We need good doctors for our seniors, and we need to be able to choose our doctors.
