My wife and I both receive SSDI which is our only income. I have been on Medicare for 6 years and my wife will be shortly. We must depend on Medicare for our medical needs and we are scared that we will be unable to obtain basic health care before long if doctors reject Medicare patients because it doesn't make financial sense to treat them. Medicare pays most doctors less than I have to pay for auto mechanic to work on my car (based on time spent for service). We really need attention given to repair our Medicare system. After all, we don't have any choice but to use Medicare. I pay an outrageous premium for a Supplemental policy to fill in gaps not covered by Medicare that are much to large. Quit penalizing our nation's elderly and doctors who take care of them. Fix our system. Government finds money for things they want to, find money to help us that worked, payed taxes, raised children - helped make our nation great.
