We, the undersigned, support the application for Melbourne to become the first Derbyshire town to be awarded the WALKERS ARE WELCOME accolade. We believe that achieving this status will bring useful benefits to local residents and the business community. We support the campaign to secure better facilities for walkers, the continued maintenance of our public footpaths, the development of way-marked trails and better access to the town by public transport, all of which are necessary to the success of the WALKERS ARE WELCOME application.
