Mei Mei are extremely responsible operators, who are building a brand and a reputation. They are genuinely interested in building a community with their customers, vendors and peer restauranteurs. As such, they will not do anything to damage their reputation and will operate responsibly with a beer and wine license in the neighborhood.

I strongly support this request. Boston neighborhoods need more locally owned and sourced restaurants of this kind, and a beer and wine license is essential to their success.

Mei Mei serve great food and take their role as part of the local food community seriously. As their past activity shows, they are serious about building community among local food and beverage producers. Serving delicious local products helps the community much more than serving tasty but imported goods. I'm looking forward to having local craft beer and wine at Mei Mei's.
