I'm a Mei Mei restaurant customer and find it greatly inconvenient that I can't have local craft beers to go with my food at Mei Mei. A wine and beer license needs to be issued to Mei Mei to keep customers like me from the outer burbs visiting Boston more frequently.
Mei Mei are extremely responsible operators, who are building a brand and a reputation. They are genuinely interested in building a community with their customers, vendors and peer restauranteurs. As such, they will not do anything to damage their reputation and will operate responsibly with a beer and wine license in the neighborhood.
Mei Mei is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. This license would allow them to continue to support other local food businesses - through offering local high quality beverages.
I support granting Mei Mei a beer and wine liquor license. I have eaten from their food truck for the past couple of years. I am 20 year+ Brookline resident.
As a 15 year resident of Fenway/Kenmore, this is exactly the kind of business our neighborhood needs to be supporting. A beer and wine license is a natural pairing to the food, and will help draw in the customer base they need to thrive.
Their food is absolutely delectable, great food needs a great drink to top it off with!

This would be a huge boost to not only the community in terms of need and drawing in business, but also to the local microbreweries that could benefit from having another platform for their products.
