She has worked hard, let her walk!

I strongly agree that she should be able to walk with her peers and continue her transition year next year as planned. Not really sure how why this would even be considered an issue in the first place!

Megan has always been a part of this class. Please reconsider and let her participate in graduation with her class.

Let the girl walk with her friends- it's something everyone waits 13 years to do and works hard to achieve

For real Ed-Co?? Thought the people in the small town NEIA area would have more common sense than that.. Try and make this whole thing feel normal for her and let her go out with her friends and classmates

Megan is a huge part of this senior class and who they have become as people. She has molded them into kind young adults. Megan has met her requirements for graduation but has goals to meet due to her disability. Please do the right thing and let her walk as she should.

This is just absolutely ridiculous of the school! This girl deserves nothing but happyness and the feeling of being excepted. She has grown with that grade and was a huge part of her life for 13 years. Have a little respect.

I worked with many students in similar situations in Minnesota. They were not lucky enough to stay in the same school for their extra transition time and had to move to a different facility. But they were allowed to graduate with their classes and it was defining for all of them. Please allow this young woman to share in celebrating her education with those she loves instead of creating an opportunity for her to be disengaged by the community.

Please let Megan walk with her class! She's earned the honor of celebrating with them, as have her parents, care takers and teachers! Take a cue from colleges and universities, many of them allow students to walk with their class yet complete courses and receive their diploma at a later date! This situation is no different, allow her to walk in the ceremony but receive her diploma at a later date!

I really don't see why her walking across the stage with the peers she grew up with and then returning to class in the fall would be a problem. edco your schools are better than is I've seen you do more for criminals than you are for this young lady.

Good luck! This is terrible. You should be able to graduate with your class! I would be devistated if I couldn't graduate with my own class.
