Since 2010 Medway Council have slowly but surely ruined Gillingham Market. The market was fantastic when Mrs L. Jennings was the market manager but unfortunately Mrs Jennings emigrated to Australia, the market, high street and treatment of traders and the public has gone severely downhill since the new market manager took over. The variation of stalls & shops was superb before the latest manager took over and it seems as though only certain traders & shop owner get treated fairly. If you are a member of the public, please sign this petition if you feel the market is no longer any good and you want it changed to the bustling, vibrant market it was.
