Please reconsider project to build meditation center. It's really helpful for our world at this moment. World needs to be more mindful. Meditation is one of the best way to help people to love and respect to each other. Power of purity from mindful mind will attract so much good things to the community around the center in the future. Don't miss a best chance for good thing to happen in Alabama.

This land should be used for a meditation center if that is the wish of the landowner. It would hurt no one to allow a place of peace and tranquility to be built. Meditation is good for any religion and causes harm to none.

I'm familiar with this story and frankly it wrankles me something fierce. The people protesting this I'm sure would be appalled if the government tried to tell them they couldn't build whatever they wanted in their property. I cannot see any way that this is not small minded bigotry plain and simple.

Meditation has been proven to increase prosocial behaviors and help people not only find more peace within themselves but bring that peace into the world, something our world needs more than ever. This is not even a religious group. Meditation is for everyone. It does not pose a threat to anyone. Especially with all the land at this site, the Center will be quiet and peaceful and will in no way inconvenience neighbors. Mobile would benefit so much from the proposed Center.

Freedom of religion is a right granted by the US Constitution, the denial by the Planning Commission of Mobile is obviously based on religions discrimination against Buddhism, the 4th largest Religion in the World and the fastest growing Religion in the western world.
