I have Stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has spread to part of my liver. IMy brother has Stage 4 thyroid cancer. We , and so many thousands of others should not have to wait another year or more and continue to endure the ravages of this horrific disease. It is cruel and unfair to prolong our suffering.We hope that our government will speed up the implementation of the new York Medical Medical marijuana law so that we can receive the help we so desperately need and deserve before it is too late.

I am a long time chronic pain sufferer. I have severe advanced degenerative disc disease, a few buldging disc, fibromyalgia, hital hernia, acid reflux disease, high blood pressure, irritable bile and now maybe just recently a diagnosis of something called cvs.(Chronic vomiting) I have had neck surgery, cervical cancer causing the hysterectomy, gallbladder removal, wich is now thought to be the reason for the cvs wich causes severe vomiting of bile.I am a 49 year old mother of 5 grown children and 14 grands. I am also a Sunday School teacher and studying to be a minister. Though I have to admit that I was introduced to marijuana the illegal way.., I'd never done a illegal drug in my life, but 3 years ago while in so much pain, I couldn't eat, nothing stayed down for about a week, I was having SEVERE vomiting and diahrrea, when I finally could get off the toilet, a friend suggested I try marijuana. Desperatley seeking relief I did! What a wonderful surprise!!! Although Fibro is uncurable , Marijuana helps the nausea,it improves my appetite, relaxes my pinched up muscles giving me the relief I need to make my day and is the ONLY thing that will give me relief. Unfortunatly , I have to be ashamed of using it, no matter the pain free days it can bring me. Ashamed because of the stigma society places on it's use. I am a GRANDMOTHER, I can't go to jail, Im a Christian how would that look? So I hide it, praying I will not get caught relieving my pain, the guilt is almost as unbearable as the pain. I can go to my doc. and get ANY type of pain meds I want, He has been dealing with me for over15yrs. so he knows my pain. But the side effects are HORRIBLE!! Codine gives me headaches, Morphine runs my bp. up more, Oxi just makes me plain sick, I throw up even more, Lortab just make me sleepy and constipated.., shall I go on? All the above drugs mentioned have the poteintial of me abusing and even worse side effects but I can get them if I wanted LEGALLY all day long.I am so torn,

Try checking the bible to see if cannabis is mentioned. Someone told me Hebrew names are used for herbs and spices that we are suppose to use. They told me cannabis is listed. If you can find it in the bible then maybe religious freedom can be used as a way around the law. Research it. It couldn't hurt to check. This could very well be a resolution to this problem.

Stop making people into criminals over something as harmless as marijuana! This is pathetic!

Hello Friends,i am the General Secretary of the National Marijuana Industry Association( NMIA) of St.Vincent and the Grenadines,Caribbean Islands.The NMIA is struggling for the decriminalization of Medical Marijuana in St. Vincent/Grenadines.

I can see the help Medical Marijuna provides . I also would like to get information, on obtaining a permit to hrow the cannibus , for such use ! Anyone know how to obtain this permit ?

I am sick with cancer tumors on my liver, hept.-c, liver cirrhosis, degenerating disc in my spine so I am in chronic pain. On pain med's since 1999 and it will kill me if I continue I need medical marijuana.
