Throughout the city of Los Angeles alone there thousands of people abusing the use of the medical Marijuana card. Originally the card was designed as a drug which was proven to help reduce problems with glaucoma, and for cancer patients it reduces nausea from chemotherapy. Now there are billboards adversided throughout the city for people to obtain simply with a phone call and any where between 20 to 45 dollars as long as one is over the age of 18. The goal in this petition is to restore the medical use of a marijuana card back to its roots in order to perserve the medication for those who need it for medical issues and not those seeking one for recreational/social uses.
