Cruel and unusual punishment is a violation of Michael's rights pursuant 8th Amendment Under the Constitution to the United States of America.

I would like to pose the question - why would a person that is incarcerated not be allowed to have his rights to have receive medical attention? Even if not by the correction staff direct intent to cause harm or violate a person has rights to medical attention. It is not the guards right to decide what is deemed important or what is a medical necessity as they are simply guards they are not medically trained or do you have physicians, nurses, physical therapist or other trained medical professionals that are also trained as a correctional officers? For some reason I highly doubt that.

Michael has done his time for a non-violent crime. He deserves and has the right to medical care. I sign this petition in hopes Michael receives treatment that is legally his.

I am disappointed in the care that are rehabilitation centers give inmates. I do not consider Michael and inmate for nonviolent drug charge to be incarcerated since 2004 is ridiculous. I knew Michael many years ago when he first took his title he was very close friends with my friends the Weaver triplets. So I'm signing this petition and hope that he will get the medical treatment that he deserves and hopefully someday the freedom that he deserves as well. Keep your head up Michael
