In states where cannabis legal, either medical or recreational, it has helped to benefit not only the state, but the people who live in those states. Opioid and painkiller use has dropped in cannabis friendly states, as well. It is time to legalize medical cannabis in Indiana. To use it to help fight the opioid epidemic. To stop the mass incarceration of medical users, and to put our efforts to fighting against the more harmful drugs damaging our communities. The people deserve an alternative to big pharma, and that start with HB 1106.
