My daughter has Microcephaly from in the womb to birth doctors were confused and were not much help to our family and understanding all that comes with microcephaly. A lot of steps need to be taken and support for familys who are lost like mine was.

Measurements should be taken at birth and regularly throughout childhood and marked on standard growth charts along with weight and height at least up to school age and for longer where there is concern or interest for any reason. Where there is discrepancies between growth rates it is far easier for all concerned to see if they have been consistently plotted on growth charts

Absolutely agree with this. We need to be catching these things early so kids get the help they need right away.

should be standard practice for every single baby. seems like common sense to me.
