We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to re-instate the measuring of head circumference at birth so that there is a reference point for the development of the skull. This is early intervention,if a child has a condition which effects the growth of the skull,such as microcephaly or macrocephaly, then the right procedures can be in place.If the head is measured then there is faster diagnosis which leads to more rapid treatment and makes the child and parents life easier.
