The yearbook staff is being way too strict honestly. It would just be a cool photo.
School is already stressful enough without them policing who you can take a picture with. leave him alone.
This is actually really sweet. Let him have his moment in the yearbook seriously.

Why not? High school is for memories and if this is a memory for him then let it happen.
