We, the undersigned residents of Meadow Pointe, feel that there is an overwhelming need for the Meadow Pointe CDD to add a dog park within the confines of Meadow Pointe. This petition serves as our written documentation to express to the Board a responsibility to hear the voices of the residents and pursue a course of direction that is in the best interest of all. Many residents feel that there is an overwhelming need to create a safe environment for residents to allow their pets to exercise, interact and socialize with other pets. Not only is this a healthy benefit for the pets but it would also allow residents to make new friends with similar interests and build a stronger, friendlier community. This dog park would also help relieve some interaction between Meadow Pointe pet owners and non-pet owners while still allowing the pets to have a great area for outside activity. Dog parks are one of the fastest growing amenities among communities today and we think that it would be a great addition to the wonderful amenities already within Meadow Pointe.
