Final supporters
We the undersigned members of the Memorial Drive Elementary (MDE) community understand that SBISD is evaluating its 2019 Education Specifications including specifications therein regarding classroom sizes. Given this ongoing evaluation and its potential impact on the design of MDE for decades to come, we request that the MDE rebuild be delayed until the winter of the 2023-2024 school year. This will allow SBISD and the community time to collaborate and complete the evaluation for the benefit of, not only MDE, but also the future rebuild projects slated to occur within SBISD.

My kids go to MDE and we really need to get this right. Rushing the design now just to save a few months is a huge mistake. Slow down!
DELAY IT. The community hasnt had a real say in this yet. Listen to us for once.
The current classroom size specs are totally outdated. We need to wait until they fix the policy before starting construction.
Waiting a few months is literally nothing compared to how long the building will stand. Stop rushing.
So frustrated with how this is being handled. Just give us the extra time to make sure the school is actually built for the students needs.
