We, the students matriculated in the MPA in Emergency and Disaster Management at MCNY, are outraged at the decision of Administration to cancel our overseas trip, which is part our tuition. This program has been a staple at MCNY for several years and it is one of the major factors that separates the MCNY program from the rest. This is also the reason why many of us chose MCNY over other institutions offering a similar program. The overseas trip is promoted and advertised by MCNY as part of our curriculum, by cancelling the program with no restitution, represents false, misleading and deceptive advertising, which constitutes as fraud under the False Advertising Law

We, the undersigned affected students are prepared to pursue a class action suit against MCNY Administration for false advertisement and theft of service, if restitution is not granted or the trip re-instated.
