McNicoll Avenue Child Care Program is in need of your help. TDSB (Toronto District School Board) owns the property and building that McNicoll Child Care resides in. Currently TDSB has proposed the sale of the property. This puts McNicoll Avenue Child Care at a serious risk of closure.

McNicoll Avenue Child Care is one of the few licensed facilities that offers child care for Infants and Toddlers as well as Preschoolers within this immediate area.

This affects 49+ current families in care as well as future families on the waiting list, within this area.

It is a Not-for-Profit organization that offers affordable child care. They've also been consistently rated as providing a very high quality of service by the City of Toronto. as well as the Ministry of Education.

The Staff and the Community need your support. Let's send a message to TDSB that this child care is not just a business, it's part of our community and the property should not be sold!

Given the shortage of day care facilities in the area, it does not make sense to sell the property and close the facility. To have a vibrant community, such facilities are essential. Let's put our next generation ahead of short-sighted financial gain.

As a former parent and board member of McNicoll Avenue Child Care, I feel very strongly against the proposed sale of the TDSB property. The daycare is the best in the neighbourhood and it will be a real loss to the community.

Please do not sell this building. McNicoll Avenue Child Care Program is excellent and needed in the area. It is increasingly difficult to find licensed child care. Especially with new residential development in progress next door. Where are the kids of these new homes going to go?

The building where McNicoll Avenue childcare center is located in a building that serves children from Adventure Place, the Childcare center and Ontario Early Years Center. It is an integral part of the community.

My son is one of preschoolers in mcnickol child care and if this center is closed it affects on my life and also many other families and staff will have problem to find other places to take care of their kids so it is not fair to take away this facility from the comunity in this area by selling out the center.

We don't have enough Daycare around North York area and we don't want this Daycare to close. Most of the daycares around the area only accepts 18months old babies. And mom's need to go back to work before that...

We need a top quality daycare with infant room in the area. Not all childcare provide spots for infants. If they do, it is limited space.

Keep the school/daycare running! This is a great hub!
