PETITION TO KEEP MEN’S SOCCER AND BOTH MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING AS OFFICIAL NCAA SPORTS AT MCMURRY UNIVERSITY

McMurry University has recently made it known that Men’s Soccer and the entire Swimming program will no longer be official NCAA sports at the university. The athletes and coaches making up these teams have shown us that they have become a emerging force within NCAA Division 2 Sports. The soccer team was NCCAA Region Champions and made it to the NCCAA National Tournament in the first year of membership. These teams go to work every day, many playing without any athletic scholarships, bleeding and sweating to provide McMurry and this community with high quality options for athletic entertainment. These student-athletes have done nothing to deserve their programs being removed and action must be taken to ensure that these programs remain at McMurry University. By signing this petition, you show your support for not only these athletic programs, but the future success of McMurry University

been watching the soccer team since they started and theyve been nothing but impressive. keep them on the field!
Swimmers spend their whole lives training for this. dont take that away from them just because of a budget sheet
Keep the soccer program alive. These guys put in so much heart and soul for this school and deserve way better than this.
Ridiculous decision. Why would you cut championship level teams???
My brother swims here and they work so hard every single day. Cutting these sports is a huge mistake for the school culture.
