No one should be put through this during what is supposed to be the best years of their life. There's enough stresses students have in university.

My niece who is a student at McGill asked me to read & sign this. I am proud of the young woman she has become in the 3 years she has attended her school, and she is proud to be a walking ambassador for McGill - as students are. Let's set the example and help make the world safer for all by looking out for each other with respect & compassion.

This is long overdue and given what has happened with the sports teams the school needs to look at their policies seriously. As well, protecting the rights of all people should be a majority priority for fostering safety.

I wish York U students cared this much about campus safety.

Overall, it's a very well thought out Sexual Assault Policy, especially Section C: Policy and Appendix A: The Antioch College Sexual Offense Policy: Procedures. This policy is clearly needed and can be of great benefit to the McGill Community. One beneficial change that could be made to the policy would be to include a stipulation in Appendix A: The Antioch College Sexual Offense Policy: The Appeals Process: Confidentiality 2B that would protect respondents' name confidentiality until after the period for appeals has past or after the appeals process has been fully completed, ensuring that respondents are not harmed in the case that their names are released prior to the Hearing Board's decision being overturned by appeal.

The recommendations are well thought out. I hope you will give this important matter the consideration it deserves.

This is shameful and as a McGill parent I am dumbstruck to learn that this condition exists in a modern university that considers itself cutting edge on so many fronts.

There may be hope yet... so amazed by the collective effort of the groups working to make this happen.
