I would just like to make my point about the petrol prices and why we have to have it or even buy it!  The prices have become so expensive and are driving us crazy! Why do we even have to have petrol? Cars could just run on solar and that would become so much cheaper! Everyone has to buy petrol if you own a car, it's not just free.

I would like to bring to your attention the prices and how much they have risen since the start of the year! The prices should be at the max $1/L, at the start of 2011 petrol was around the $1.20/L mark. I can remember a couple of years ago the prices were this high as well. This year the prices are expected to get even higher than $1.50/L. Today Diesel is over $1.50/L and Unleaded is over the $1.40/L and some petrol service stations are even past that price range! This is unacceptable and needs some urgent attention. 

Secondly, why does it have to be petrol? Why can't it be Solar Power? That would be a major saving of money and less greenhouse gases and is alot more Eco - friendly! I think it would be a massive difference if most of the cars were solar powered! It would make Australia a better place in so many ways!

In summary, petrol is just to expensive and some people will not be able to afford this if the price stays as it is for a length of time. I hope in the future they do start to invent more and more solar cars it would make our lives easier and it would be so much more cheaper!!
