The cost of water has soared over the last decade and needs to be decreased immediately. Water is a precious resource and extremely important in everyday living.

Water is needed and used by us everyday. The political game being played by politicians and blaming past goverment for the lack of water infrastructure and development as the primary reason for the water prices soaring is unacceptable and sets a poor example. As a child placing the blame on others for problems is not acceptable and will not resolve anything. Is the real problem not that government is handing over there responsibilities to provide services, like water, to private businesses who only care about making profits and not the community. 

When is the government going to stop wasting our money? Cost of water services continues to increase as it is being provided by private businesses however the running of the goverment has not decreased which it should as you are no longer doing this work but taxes being paid by my dad and many other adults continue to increase, so what are you doing with all this money!

Why should we have to water our gardens less and grow fewer trees which helps absorb pollution being caused because government can't control water prices forcing us to use less water. I hereby ask government to rethink handing out important water services to private businesses instead of doing it themselves, that is an easy wayout to placing the blame on someone else and does not resolve the matter and is not the Australian way. Come on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In concluding, cost of water is ridicolous and should be decreased not increased. The goverment should not blame others for there responsibilty. Parents can't wait till that day when the govenment stops wasting our money.
