Hello, my name is Steven White.

I am tired of going to McDonald's and having a constant reminder of the differences between my race, Caucasian, and the African-American community. If we want to push our society forward to a new standard of acceptance, we need to stop calling the McDonald's breakfast potato product, "Hash Browns," and start calling them "Hash Whites." I choose the name "Hash Whites," because, as a white male, I do not feel threatened when I hear this term. The color white is a mixture of all the colors of the rainbow and should be fair to all races. When the term "Hash Brown" gets thrown around we are reminding our urban brethren of their afflictions. Please consider signing this petition to move McDonald's forward, and show that it is the considerate company that we all know it is.
