With a lack of athletic resources in the area and the soon to be under construction park, removing the club house is the last thing that should be happening.

Keeping the clubhouse means more people will play. We need bathrooms and amenities -- and there's a real opportunity to make more money if you provide those things. Let's make these courts as thriving as Central Park and Prospect Park!

Having a year round tennis program at McCarren would be a great addition to the neighborhood. That is only possible with a year-round clubhouse. Please allow the structure to stand. Plus it looks great.

A permanent clubhouse is a real necessity and will keep players from going elsewhere. Having more people hang out at these courts is great for the surrounding shops and restaurants as well.

It's crucial that kids have better tennis facilities in Brooklyn - courts and clubhouse. Retaining the clubhouse lowers costs and enhances the facility for all that use it.

Tennis is a social sport!! We need the clubhouse to meet new friends and spend time to get to know each other and arrange games with fellow players as well as the tennis pros from the tennis center. The McCarren park tennis community needs a place to meet and call home.
