There is a need for a physical shelter in the Lynchburg area...please be a part of the solution to finding homes for homeless animals and giving them a safe refuge until that day. TNR too!!

I think it will be a much welcomed addition to our community. I agree, it needs to be a No Kill Shelter with the TNR program.

We hope to be added into the yearly budget, without an increase in taxes.

Moore County is a strong community and we should be responsible for our own animal population rather than rely on surrounding counties to care for them. The dedicated leadership of Moore County Friends of Animals have shown the need for a shleter as well as the capability of managing a shelter. I would hope that our community leaders would support this worthy project.

This will help cut down on the strays, and even help the wild life population which suffer from predation by stray domestic animals.

An animal shelter is desperately needed in Moore County. If some of our citizens are unable to be responsible pet owners it becomes a responsibility of the county to help.

We need an animal shelter in Moore county. Downy road people drop mostly cats but a few dogs. I would keep them all but I can't afford it. Please help us get a shelter.

I do not live there full time but own property there on Bobo Hollow Rd. and have barn cats there. People often dump animals. My uncle takes care of the barn cats for me. We are there often. I also think it is time for Moore county to grow with the surrounding counties and open an animal shelter it is needed. No one realizes how much until you make the move. Check with your surrounding counties.

Like my cousin said. I don't live in Moore county but I care about animals and it's not their fault they stray. If their families would care, spay, neuter them there would not be so many put out on the streets. Please help these animals.

Strays continue to be a problem in the County. A shelter would be of great assistance.
Give them an animal shelter
