There has been insufficient evidence that this would benefit the public and give sonographers more "control" over their profession in Manitoba.
We demand that you stop the process of self regulation and withdraw our papers from the province.

There is no evidence that this will benefit Manitoba sonographers. The additional cost is basically job creation for lawyers and bureaucrats.
It has come to the attention of the Ad Hoc Committee for Self Regulation for MRT's and Sonographers of Manitoba that a presentation was made on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, titled "Sonography Self Regulations the Answers". After reviewing the content we have identified inaccuracies in the presented material that requires clarification. The committee would like the opportunity to clarify the information provided to you. An email blast will be sent within the next two weeks. If in the meantime you should have questions, please contact us at [email protected]. You are invited to join us at our next information session at the MAMRT office on Monday, April 24, 2017 at either 1730 or 1900. Thank you.

I feel that self regulation will not be a benefit to Sonographers. Therefore, I vote against self regulation.
