Help me get the word to Mazda Corporate that we as consumers are upset about the lack of iPod connectivity/integration with the Tech Package.
The Salespersons and online marketing materials led consumers to believe that the CX-7 was iPod-Ready and for those of us that purchased the "Technology Package" were NOT informed that doing-so would negate the planned connectivity kit (which is VERY limited in its execution).
Upgrading to the "Technology Package" should allow us access to (dare I say) one of the country's (world's) most common piece of consumer electronics. There are cars FAR LESS EXPENSIVE than the CX-7 that have full iPod integration. Let's let Mazda know that this is IMPORTANT to us and that it's not just something that needs to be fixed in upcoming models - "WE" need resolution - the ones that were duped.
I have been overwhelmed by the messages from so many of you who feel just as frustrated by this oversight as I do. It truly humbles me that you have all come together to point out this issue when I originally thought I was the only one dealing with it. Please know I am working on getting our frustrations in front of the right people at Mazda.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have stepped up to echo this frustration. You have turned a personal annoyance into something that Mazda simply cannot ignore anymore.

Total bait and switch. Sales guy swore it was ready to go. Very disappointed.

This is ridiculous. I paid extra for the tech package expecting it to actually be tech forward. My old civic had better connectivity than this car.
